Accommodation

 

Villa Sunset is situated in a quiet area in Torrevieja with the name El Chaparral.   Lots of the typical Spanish accommodations were build in the nineties and have had some renovation to modernize them.     Which is what we also did.  At first we started with small plans but in the end the complete villa was transformed.  

On the Inside you will see that some of the beautiful Spanish details did remain but to make the comfort higher we had to replace the kitchen and bathrooms and remove some walls.   This way it's more spacious so we can guarantee a comfortable stay upto 12 persons.

Rooms and Spaces

 

On the ground floor is a spacious bright living room area with an open equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, four bedrooms and a laundry room with a washing machine .   The house has 2 similar hallways with each 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.

One is on the complete left side of the house and the other on the right side.    Its convenient when your traveling with more then one family.    Three bedrooms have double beds and 1 bedroom has four single beds.  

The kitchen is fully equipped and  has an American fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine with pads and one with beans and of course some small electrical devices like a toaster or juicer.    There's a variety of  glasses so you can drink your cocktail in a cocktail glass as well as your wine in a decent wineglass.   For the very little ones there are plastic cups, spoons, forks and plates.     On request two baby beds and two baby chairs.

The studio upstairs has one bedroom with double bed + one single bed, a toilet + bathroom furniture.   You can reach the studio with an external stair which leads to an enormous solarium.   A third family can have total privacy in the studio.   It has no shower but in summer some use the outside shower.    The reason the studio has no shower is that its to low.   Therefore we give the advice to tall people to sleep downstairs.    The middle of the studio is about 1.80 metres.  In the studio there's like downstairs a big smart tv, fridge, microwave  and airco.

We didn't leave out any details to make your comfort as high as possible.  Hygiene standards concerning sheets and towels are kept high and we check and replace regurlarly.  

 

 

Check-in & check-out

 

Arrival from 15hrs and departure at 10hrs.    On request we can arrange an earlier check-in or late check-out.   If there's no possibility due to the cleaning then we will offer another solution concerning the luggage.

 

The area 

 

The villa is located between the two salt-lakes.   The salinas we call them in Spanish.  There's the salinas de torrevieja (pink lake) and the salinas de la mata.   This specific location in Torrevieja has a bio climate which is good for people with artrose, reuma and lung diseases.  Across the street you will find an area where you can do long walks who lead to the lake or to the beach of La Mata.    Do not hesitate to contact us to give some more directions or a map.

Around the corner there are various restaurants, car-rental, bars, ATM.   The bus to the center is also around the corner in 500 meters distance.  Or just take a cab to the center which is like 5 minutes from the house.   The center of Torrevieja is also the place to be for the beaches, boulevard, bars and resto's.    

At a distance of 2 km there's a shopping center with some famous brands.   This is the Habaneras Shopping Center.   Another big shoppingcenter is the Zenia Boulevard in La Zenia which looks like a village and has all the shops on the ground flour.   

In high season the carnival at the Torrevieja Boulevard is every day and night open.   It's a rather big carnival with lots of attractions.   Market in Torrevieja is on fridays and will probably be the biggest you have seen.   If you like to know a bit more about good resto's etc....just ask and we'll send a list of various resto's which are highly rated.   Ofcourse the drinks and food at the Costa Blanca are not so highly priced as your used the northern countries or big city's.   Which is one of the many reasons this area is enormously popular.   The sun, beach, bars, cocktails and divine tapas will give everyone a good time.    Time to enjoy Spain ! 

 

Extra's

 

Pets are allowed but do inform us in advance.   Please note to not let your pet sleep on the beds and that the area around the house is kept clean.  

 

!!Smoking is not allowed in the house!!   Outside you will find ashtrays.
